“Carpe Diem”, Says Coworker Ordering Strawberry Lime Margaritas During Lunch

Arlington, TX – With her coworkers offering the same tired excuses for their reasoning not to drink at lunch, office manager Kathy Jenkins instead ordered a standalone pitcher of strawberry lime margaritas at California Pizza Kitchen while justifying her decision by simply shouting “carpe diem” at the top of her lungs. Jenkins’ coworkers could only sit astonished while she polished off her first pitcher before they had placed their order, with H.R. manager David Branford stating that “getting totally blasted in the middle of the day instead of doing your job must be exactly what the ancient Latinos had in mind when they invented the phrase.”

Jenkins would later be found shouting “YOLO” while parking in the CEO’s reserved garage spot.
