Best Buy Employee Not Responsible For What Might Happen If Customer Doesn’t Buy Extended Warranty

Fairfax, VA – As he shook his head slowly after his attempt to sell an extended warranty while ringing up a Insignia Universal Remote was politely declined, Best Buy cashier Todd Brosnan warned Becky Hamilton that neither he nor Best Buy corporate could be held responsible for whatever may happen once she leaves the store. Brosnan cryptically alluded to the fact that he had seen this same mistake happen before, and that the “consequences could never be undone.” He then made a throat-slashing gesture with the universal remote before asking Hamilton if she would need a bag.
