Meeting That Ran Over Scheduled Time 24 Hours Ago Now Technically Counts As Hostage Situation

Aurora, CO – What started as a seemingly harmless request to MegaBlog employees “to hang on for a sec” following their roadmap meeting dragged on long enough to actually qualify as a hostage situation after employees’ attempts to leave were politely but firmly rejected by CEO Jesse Bowen. The 4p.m. meeting has run roughly 27 hours long after Bowen told attendees that no one was allowed to leave she was presented with “a real gamechanger,” a vague description that quickly alerted employees to the fact that they would most likely be trapped overnight, and possibly through the weekend.

As of press time, employees were hoping that their limited supply of leftover birthday cake from an earlier meeting would last until their loved ones realized that they hadn’t come home.
