Coworkers Talk For First Time In Almost Two Years To Discuss ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season Premiere

Riverside, CA – Despite sitting directly next to each other and oftentimes collaborating on the same marketing projects, coworkers Claude Guerrero and Justin Underwood actually conversed with each other for the first time since August 28, 2017, to talk about how awesome the latest “Game of Thrones” episode was. Guerrero and Underwood have somehow managed to avoid making any sort of small talk since the season seven finale, when they both endorsed the idea of starting a “Game of Thrones” fansite together. The idea fell through after Underwood “had to bail last-minute” on a brainstorming session Guerrero scheduled at the nearest Applebee’s.

Guerrero and Underwood discussed last night’s episode for over three hours, digging into subtle callbacks to earlier in the series, noting slight changes to costumes, and estimating how many additional Emmys the series would win this year. At no point did they talk about any aspect of their personal lives, such as Guerrero’s divorce forcing him to confront his decades-long battle with alcoholism, or Underwood’s new haircut.

As of press time, Guerrero and Underwood have both enthusiastically agreed to start a “Game of Thrones” podcast, just as soon as the series finale airs.
